Bathroom wallpapers - WET System

The WET System from Wallcolors is designed to protect wallpaper in areas that come into direct contact with water. It is suitable for use in bathrooms, kitchens, and spa rooms where waterproofing is required. If you want the wallpaper to decorate the interior of a shower cabin or above a bathtub, the Metropolis resin layer will protect the wallpaper from moisture-related damage. The Metropolis protective layer is transparent and does not affect the color of the wallpaper.

When choosing the Prowall Eco material, remember that it is characterized by a completely smooth surface, which means that improper application of the resin may result in imperfections in the form of streaks. This undesirable effect is easiest to avoid by choosing other structures of materials from the Prowall series.

Preparation of the substrate

The surface of the walls and ceilings should be properly prepared in advance. The substrate must be smooth, dry, free of dirt and cavities. Damage, i.e. cracks and cavities, should be repaired beforehand.

Add component B to component A as indicated in the mixing ratio. The resin is delivered in pre-weighed and ready-to-mix packages. !DO NOT CHANGE THE RATIO OF THE COMPONENTS. The components should be thoroughly mixed together, poorly mixed components may not harden on the painted surface. Apply 2 or more coats 6 hours apart.

Installation and securing the wallpaper with resin should be carried out by a specialist who will also provide a guarantee for the protection of the wallpaper and/or wall. It must be remembered that the quality of the assembly is a key factor to obtain full protection of the wallpaper.
