Wallcolors at the 13th Regatta for Architects. Knowledge, inspiration, and discussions about modern walls
Architecture meets nature
The XIII Regatta for Architects took place in the exceptional scenery of the Masurian lakes. This event has been attracting architects from all over Poland for years, who are looking for something more than classic conferences. The relaxed atmosphere, closeness to nature, and informal character of the meetings foster conversations that often turn into real collaborations. For Wallcolors, it was the perfect context to discuss the role of walls in modern interiors and how wallpapers and wall decorations can become a legitimate design tool.
Wallcolors as the main lecturer of the event
During the training part, Wallcolors served as the main lecturer of the XIII Regatta for Architects. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss current trends in interiors, as well as a practical approach to working with clients.A lot of attention was paid to how Wallcolors wallpapers function in real projects and how architects can use them not only as a background but as an element that builds the character of the entire space.
During the presentation, examples of implementations using wallpapers, Arch forms, and DOTS and DOTS Lighting wall decorations were presented. The conversation naturally shifted to issues of aesthetics, project coherence, and the emotions evoked by well-designed walls. This aspect particularly resonated with the training participants.
Wallpapers and wall decorations in design practice
The training had a very practical character. Instead of theoretical considerations, specific design scenarios emerged that architects face on a daily basis. How to choose a wallpaper that matches the character of the interior. How to work with color and rhythm on the wall. How to combine wallpapers with other finishing elements to ensure the whole is coherent and timeless.
There was also a great interest in the wall decorations Arch and DOTS, which are increasingly appearing in commercial and private projects. Architects appreciated their form and arrangement possibilities, especially in spaces where the wall is meant to serve as an accent rather than just a background.
Conversations that remain after disembarking
One of the greatest advantages of the Regatta for Architects is the atmosphere conducive to conversations outside the official program. After the lectures and presentations, discussions moved to the docks, yacht decks, and shared dinners. It was there that questions arose about individual projects, unusual implementations, and the challenges architects face in their daily work.
For Wallcolors, it was a valuable opportunity for direct contact with designers and to understand their real needs.Such meetings demonstrate that wallpapers and wall decorations are now an important element of the dialogue between the brand and the architect, rather than just a product chosen at the end of the design process.
XIII Regatta for Architects as a space for inspiration
Events such as the XIII National Regatta for Architects prove that the interior design industry needs not only trade fairs and training in conference rooms. The combination of knowledge, inspiration, and shared time builds relationships that pay off long after the regatta has ended.Wallcolors' participation as the main lecturer was a natural step towards even closer collaboration with architects. It is from such meetings that ideas for new wallpaper and wall decoration collections arise, responding to real design needs.
