Renovation at Your Place. How Tomasz Pągowski’s show transformed a child’s room with the Hidden Deers wallpaper
A child's room as a thoughtfully designed living space
In the modern approach to designing children's interiors, random colours and intense stimuli are increasingly a thing of the past. What matters instead is harmony, coherence and the ability to grow together with the child. In the project from the programme Remont u Ciebie, the child's room was treated as a full-fledged part of the home, where aesthetics go hand in hand with functionality. Wallcolors wallpaper played the role of a calm yet very expressive backdrop.
Hidden Deers wallpaper as the heart of the makeover
Hidden Deers is a pattern that tells a story inspired by nature. Delicate forest motifs bring an atmosphere of calm, safety and closeness to nature into the interior. It is a wallpaper that does not dominate the space, but organises it and gives it depth. In a child's room, the Hidden Deers pattern has a soothing effect, encourages calm and at the same time stimulates the imagination, which makes it an ideal choice for everyday life.
The Kids World collection and its role in the project
Hidden Deers wallpaper comes from the Kids World collection, which was designed with children in mind, but in a very conscious, aesthetic way. The patterns in this collection are illustrative, light and timeless, so they do not go out of date as the child grows. In the Remont u Ciebie project, Kids World made it possible to create an interior that is not childish, but warm and versatile.
A colour palette that supports calm
The colours in the Hidden Deers wallpaper naturally set the direction for the entire design. Muted beiges, delicate greens and a soft background make the child's room bright, friendly and visually organised. Such a colour palette does not tire the eyes and makes it easy to change accessories as the child grows up, without having to touch the walls.
Wallpaper as an accent, not the dominant feature
In the project from the programme Remont u Ciebie, the wallpaper was used in a very balanced way. It serves as the main decorative accent, but does not overwhelm the interior. As a result, the child's room retains its lightness and functionality, and the Hidden Deers wallpaper becomes a natural backdrop for everyday activities, play and rest.
Arch as a soft frame for a child's space
Arch elements are a perfect complement to children's room designs, introducing soft geometry and bringing order to the space. Combined with Hidden Deers wallpaper, Arch can gently mark out a sleeping or play area, giving the interior a more architectural, yet still very friendly character. It is a solution that strengthens the coherence of the design without an effect of excess.
DOTS and DOTS Lighting as a subtle finishing touch
DOTS decorations and DOTS Lighting work wonderfully in children's rooms as delicate accents. In a project inspired by the programme Remont u Ciebie, they can serve a decorative purpose or provide soft, atmospheric light that helps the child wind down before sleep. DOTS Lighting highlights the wallpaper pattern and makes the interior even cosier.
A child's room that grows with them
One of the greatest strengths of this makeover is its timelessness. The Hidden Deers wallpaper is not tied to a specific age of the child. As a result, the room can evolve, and the character of the interior changes mainly through accessories, textiles and furniture. It is an approach that appears more and more often in thoughtful children's interior designs.
Inspiration from TV in a real interior
The programme Remont u Ciebie shows that good design does not have to be detached from everyday life. The makeover of the child's room using Wallcolors wallpaper is an example of a solution that can be successfully transferred to your own home. A calm wallpaper, natural colours and carefully considered details create an interior that is beautiful, functional and friendly.
A makeover that lasts for years
The Hidden Deers wallpaper in Tomasz Pągowski's project proves that one well-chosen element can completely transform a space. The child's room gains character, calm and aesthetic coherence, and the whole design stays relevant for a long time. Wallcolors wallpapers, complemented by Arch and DOTS, make it possible to create children's interiors that are smart, beautiful and truly suited to everyday life.
