The project by architect Ola Ziarek, presented in the program Nowy Aranż, shows how consciously used Wallcolors wallpaper can completely transform an interior without a major renovation. Vinyl wallpaper in the bathroom – practice instead of theory
In this realization, the key role is played by Wallcolors vinyl wallpaper applied directly onto the existing tiles. This solution still raises questions, so it is worth emphasizing right away that a properly prepared surface and the right material ensure that the wallpaper performs excellently in conditions of increased humidity.Smooth tiles have been thoroughly cleaned and degreased, and then covered with wallpaper, which allowed for avoiding demolition and shortening the execution time.
The motif that builds the atmosphere of the interior
The selected pattern with fish introduces a calm, somewhat illustrative atmosphere inspired by nature into the bathroom. The deep green background perfectly contrasts with the white ceramics and light tiles, while also adding character to the interior, which is hard to find in standard arrangements. The wallpaper does not compete with the furnishings but highlights them, creating a coherent, thoughtful whole.
